Assistant Manager

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join the team at The Golden Fleece in Melton.This is a fantastic opportunity for a hospitality leader who enjoys being hands-on, thrives in fast-paced venues, and is passionate about delivering great customer experiences while supporting and developing a high-performing team.Working closely with the Venue Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the venue, supporting team leadership, compliance, gaming operations, customer service and overall venue performance. Regular roster pattern between 7am and 10pm, with one venue close per month. About the VenueThe Golden Fleece Hotel is a favourite Melton local for all to enjoy!Featuring modern facilities including a family friendly bistro, with both indoor and outdoor dining areas for all to enjoy. What You’ll Be Doing

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a hospitality leadership or management role 
  • Strong understanding of venue operations and customer service 
  • A positive, hands-on and team-focused leadership style 
  • Ability to work well in fast-paced environments 
  • Strong communication and organisational skills 
  • Knowledge of gaming and compliance requirements is highly regarded 
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays 

 

Essential Requirements

  • Current Victorian RSA 
  • Current Victorian RSG 
  • Current Victorian Gaming Employee Licence 
  • Do Food Safely Certificate
  • Full Australian working rights
