Gaming Supervisor

We have an exciting opportunity for Gaming Supervisors to join our team at venues across South East Melbourne on a casual basis.This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll take ownership of the gaming floor, TAB, and bar operations during your shift. You’ll support and guide the team to deliver seamless service, ensure compliance standards are met, and create a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for every guest who walks through the door.About UsPegasus Leisure Group (PLG) is the hospitality arm of the Melbourne Racing Club, managing a growing network of 16 pubs, clubs and hospitality venues across Victoria. Our venues include bistros, sports bars, function spaces and gaming areas, each focused on delivering great hospitality experiences within their local communities.What You’ll Be DoingLead and supervise team members across gaming, TAB, sports bar and lounge areas during shift Deliver and role-model exceptional customer service across all front-of-house areas Oversee daily venue operations including opening and closing procedures for gaming and bar areas Ensure all gaming, wagering, cash handling and venue compliance requirements are met at all times Manage and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally, escalating where required Coordinate staff allocation, breaks and shift tasking to ensure smooth service delivery Provide on-shift coaching, training and support to team members to maintain service standards  What We’re Looking ForPrevious supervisory experience in gaming or hospitality environmentsStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to remain calm, professional and decisive under pressureSolid understanding of gaming operations and compliance requirements Essential RequirementsResponsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) CertificateResponsible Service of Gambling (RSG) Certificates Current Gaming LicenceTAB Compliance CertificateFood Safely and Food Allergen certification, or willingness to obtain A Role That Keeps You MovingThis is a fast-paced, hands-on hospitality leadership role. What We’re Looking For

  • Previous supervisory experience in gaming or hospitality environments
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm, professional and decisive under pressure
  • Solid understanding of gaming operations and compliance requirements

 

Essential Requirements

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
  • Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG) Certificates 
  • Current Gaming Licence
  • TAB Compliance Certificate
  • Food Safely and Food Allergen certification, or willingness to obtain
