Assistant Manager – The Grand

PLG currently operates a diverse portfolio of venues which offer a range of hospitality options including state of the art sports bars and bistros, wine bars, outdoor and family offerings and premier function spaces.The Grand Hotel in Frankston hosts a sports bar for a pint and a punt as well as family bistro that makes you feel right at home!Assistant ManagerYou will be assisting the Venue Manager in the day to day running of the venue with a strong emphasis on customer service and leadership. Ensure all aspects of the business are functioning as they should be whilst mentoring those around you to meet their fullest potential.DutiesAssisting with achievement of set financial targetsStock control and managementStaff management including; rostering, training, performance managementCoordination, execution and evaluation of promotionsEnsure venue is compliant with all external bodies Ensure high standard of customer service is set in the venue and all employees trained in accordanceHold current RSA, RSF and RSG licences and TAB accreditedSkills & Experience Excellent communication skillsCertificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery or equivalentFood Handlers Certificate Current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)Current Victorian Responsible Service of Gambling Certificate (RSG)Current Victorian Gaming Employee LicenceTAB BasicsDemonstrated solid cash handling Previous experience as an Assistant ManagerPLG is committed to providing a career path and ongoing training and development opportunities for our employees. Pegasus Leisure Group values and embraces diversity and inclusion and we encourage all applicants to apply.
