We are currently seeking an experienced Casual Commis Chef to join the friendly team at the Golden Fleece Hotel in Melton with a real passion for food and hospitality.
The Golden Fleece Hotel â or ‘The Fleece’ to locals - features modern facilities including a family friendly bistro, with both indoor and outdoor dining areas for all to enjoy. The bistro boasts a menu jam packed with pub classics, modern dishes and plenty of daily specials, that keep people coming back again and again.
The spacious Sports Bar has an indoor and outdoor area and is kept busy with punters having a bet, watching live sport or simply catching up with friends over a few drinks.
The venue also features a versatile function space and a gaming room.
What are we looking for in a successful candidate?
- Experience of at least 2 years in a large bistro kitchen environment or a fast-paced, high volume kitchen
- Understanding of current Food safety legislation (HACCP)
- Excellent communication skills
- Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
