Digital Marketing Specialist

PLG has all the perks of a professional, corporate culture with the added benefits of flexible work practices, free onsite parking, discounts across our family of brands and free tickets to a wide range of events.What’s the opportunity?Reporting directly to the General Manager, Marketing for Pegasus Leisure Group, this position of Digital Marketing Specialist will see you help develop and manage PLG’s digital marketing strategy with a focus on delivering leading digital initiatives and an exceptional customer experience across our thirteen venues. This role is pivotal in enhancing our brand identity, communicating to and engaging with our customers and ensuring the commercialisation of our digital platforms.You will be someone with a wealth of industry experience in Digital Marketing & social media within a fast-paced agency, retail, sports, leisure, hospitality or similar environment, with the proven ability to grow company brands and deliver the best customer experience for our members and visitors to our venues. You will be comfortable working autonomously and leading the digital direction of our organisation whilst at the same time being a valued team member contributing to the overarching marketing strategy and tactical executions. We are a small yet dynamic team who rely heavily on each other and back each other up.Manage the maintenance, optimisation, engagement and execution of all venue’s websitesOversee & manage the social and digital content strategy at the same time helping educate venue staff to facilitate.Work closely with the digital strategic plan and give recommendations on digitising customer bookings, building of database and re-engagementAssist with the development of digital creative assets and digital media plans for key marketing initiativesPartner with key internal and external stakeholders to be the key contact for all digital marketing initiativesIdentify and develop opportunities to improve PLG’s digital marketing offering     What are we looking for?Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing or related disciplineMinimum of 3-5 years’ experience working with digital and social media platforms preferably within an agency like environmentAbility to respond to needs from the venues and be agile and flexible enough to adapt schedules and workflow to fulfill expectations.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software applicationsExperience using Adobe products, Wordpress, Hootsuite, Google Business & Analytics with SEO, SEM, HTML & data management email experience a big advantage.Please note, all shortlisted applicants will need to undergo a national police check in order to be considered for this role.Pegasus Leisure Group values and embraces diversity and inclusion and we encourage all applicants to apply.
