Our venues operate a diverse array of hospitality options ranging from state of the art sports bars with full wagering facilities, bistros and restaurants many with relaxing outdoor offerings, café areas, private function facilities and retail liquor outlets.With a wealth of industry experience and a progressive business plan that supports venue growth and development, PLG is currently offering unparalleled opportunities for those seeking to further their professional careers in the Hospitality and Gaming Industry.An exciting opportunity exists for experienced casual Gaming Attendants to join our team at The Sugar Gum Hotel right in the heart of Hillside. The Sugar Gum Hotel has cemented its place as Hillside’s favourite venue after an extensive renovation in 2019.  There’s a spacious family bistro alongside a huge play area that keeps children entertained for hours. The aptly named casual area, The Social, has fast become the go-to spot for people to enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail or a casual catch-up with friends while snacking on bites from the modern tapas menu at an indoor or alfresco table.  There’s also a spacious gaming room and lots of spots to enjoy coffee and cake.  We are seeking friendly individuals with excellent customer service skills and the availability to work a rotating roster of Day or Night Shifts.To be successful you must be able to demonstrate:Managing gaming functionsMonitoring gaming operations for the venueMaintaining compliance and responsible gaming practicesDay to day operations of busy gaming sectionsSolid cash handling proficiencyStrong work ethic and attention to detailExperience with Point of Sale (POS) and EFTPOSQualifications Required:Current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)Current Victorian Responsible Service of Gambling Certificate (RSG)Current Victorian Gaming Employee LicenceDemonstrated solid cash handling proficiencyExperience with Point of Sale (POS) and EFTPOSStrong work ethic and attention to detailIn return you will receive a competitive wage, a great working environment and genuine learning and development opportunities.
