Kitchen Attendant

We are looking for a motivated Casual Kitchen Attendant to join the PLG team at Steeples in Mornington. You'll support the team to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. If you're looking to start your career in the kitchen, behind the scenes. No better place to start!

Located on the Mornington Peninsula, Steeples is a dining and entertainment complex situated next to the Mornington Racecourse. Featuring modern facilities including a family friendly bistro, a designated kids play area and an alfresco deck; there are dining experiences for all to enjoy. Along with an extensive modern menu with daily specials, Steeples caters to both children and adults alike.

What will my duties include?

- Assist with basic food preparation tasks and ensure ingredients are organised and ready.
- Provide support to chefs and kitchen staff, contributing to a seamless kitchen operation.
- Monitor supplies in accordance with food volume and menu requirements.
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the workstation.

What we are looking for:

- Food Handlers Certificate.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation methods.
- Experience working in a pub/bistro fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
